Muse Monday: Evelyn Williams

Bret Easton Ellis is one of my favorite writers. I love how he captures the excess and spirit of the 1980s. One of the first things my husband and I bonded over was Rules of Attraction and Less Than Zero. I then gave him a copy of Lunar Park for the first birthday that we were together.

While I have not yet been able to stomach reading American Psycho (it is currently in my iBooks queue), I watched the movie when it was released, back in 2000. The wardrobe of Evelyn William’s (Reese Witherspoon’s character) made quite an impression upon me. I love how the costumer interpreted the 1980s so chicly. Fact: I would wear most of Evelyn’s outfits (and style my hair as such) today.

Review the following and tell me you wouldn’t do the same:

I think I am going to get my hair cut to this length. Thoughts?
